We have updated what you would think of as Aerobics & things have progressed since the Jane Fonda days,
Lycra is rarely seen in my classes,
A class for all abilities, ages or gender,
We will warm up, get you warm and burning those calories, and then cool down.This class includes some floor/mat toning work, but dont worry if the floor is too far away for you just yet! we give alternatives for those who wish to use a chair(and you wont be alone doing it either)
High Intensity Interval Training.
Is all the rage right now,
It consists of burst of intense exercise (working as hard as you can)
followed by short active rest periods.
A great way to burn calories and increase your fitness,
Infact Hiit workouts burn calories for 48 hours after the class has ended
is an exercise fitness programme
that involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included.
are taking the UK by storm. Using Kettlebells the class offers a fun, fat blasting system of training.
The workouts are designed to shape and sculpt your body whilst blitzing calories.
Classes will improve your cardiovascular fitness and muscle tone, alongside the amazing fat burning results.
Legs, Bums & Tums
This class does exactly what it says, focuses on those problem areas, the legs, tummies and bottoms, burning fat and toning those muscles.
This class is run by the newest member of the Wendy's Fitness for Life family Mel. She maybe newly quailfied but Mel has been coming to my classes for over 10 years so you are sure to recognise her. As well as running this class she will cover me when needed.
What do I need?
Just bring .....
A bottle of water, or a drink,
A small hand towel - you are going to get sweaty!
An Exercise mat or a bath towel if you dont have one!
Loose comfortable clothing you can move in,
layers are good so you can take some clothes off if you get hot,
Many members wear leggings and a T-shirt, but whatever you feel happy exercising in is fine with us.Trainers with a non slip sole.
What happens at class?
Each class consists of a weigh-in, a short motivational talk offering nutritional help & advice & a fun-filled 45 minute workout. It is your class and you can choose the combination that works for you, weigh in and work out, work out only or weigh in only.
